His internship at Elmhurst Hospital Center/Mount Sinai in Queens, New York, came during the peak of the pandemic. Reflecting on that time, he says, “Working in New York at such a challenging moment gave me perspective that I carry into every clinical encounter. It reinforced the importance of patience and problem-solving.”
